Our aim is to provide you high-quality French courses with a clear learning structure based on international standards . That’s why all our offered French courses are oriented on the Common European Framework of Reference for language training (CEFR).
It was created in 2001 by the European Council. From level A1 to C2 all course contents are pre-designed and evaluated objectively for your learning progress.
At the end of your language course you receive your certificate of attendance as proof of the respective CEFR level. Following your language training with DP LANGUES on Reunion Island you can naturally continue with a distance learning course at your home. Your team from DP LANGUES as well as your well-known trainer will coach you virtually . Live training french courseswill then be provided on a very flexible basis by Skype .
We enable our students to take part in designing their french courses . Through an intensive exchange and online assessment at the beginning of the course we ensure that participants with the same CEFR level and similar learning objectives come together in a class.
That’s one of the reasons why at DP LANGUES we teach in very small groups on an individual basis .
The framework of all french courses is given by the CEFR. Based on that the specific content is carefully prepared and handled by our qualified teacher’s team . It’s about action-based learning of the French language. Therefore we use modern teaching material that has been proven for Thousands of learners. The textbooks and schoolwork currently being used at the center are named „Version Originale“, based on the concept of experience-based learning. It is also used at the famous Alliance Française Ile de France.
Here’s a summary of a few course objectives :
∙ Ability to handle a situation with learnt competences during class (create, describe, present, etc.)
∙ Main focus on group work and individual topics
∙ learning through application and not only through simulating
∙ Developments of communicative capacities (recognize, evaluate, select, connect information…)
∙ Cultural discovery of the language and exchange
∙ Acquisition of the French language through observation, understanding and imitation
∙ Integration of current topics and some regional French particularities.
The team of DP LANGUES is always seeking to adapt the content of the french course material to the local conditions and the rich diversity of creole culture. It’s a fortunate coincidence that sporadic content of the schoolwork are related to Reunion Island. One of the central persons who contributed to the content lives and works on the island.
